ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Monday issued a traffic diversion plan for construction work at Kashmir Chowk on Club Road, advising motorists to use alternative routes to avoid delays and inconvenience.
According to an ITP official, traffic diversions will remain in place during the construction work, and motorists have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Motorists travelling from the Secretariat and Serena Hotel towards Rawalpindi can use Srinagar Highway and Ninth Avenue if Club Road is closed. Those travelling from G-5, the Secretariat and Serena Hotel can also use Srinagar Highway, Mera Abadi and Peshawar Road, or take a U-turn from Lake View and proceed via Murree Road and Club Road.
For travel towards Rawal Dam Chowk, Park Road and Lehtrar Road, motorists can use Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue, Shakarparian Road, Tulip Hotel Road and Rawal Dam Road.
Those heading towards Bhara Kahu and Murree can travel via Faizabad, Faisal Avenue, Zero Point, Srinagar Highway Underpass, Jinnah Square and Kurriyanwala Chowk.
Motorists travelling from Rawalpindi towards Islamabad can use Ninth Avenue, Faqir Aipee Road and Srinagar Highway, while those coming from Park Road and Lehtrar Road can use Tulip Hotel Road, Garden Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
The ITP urged motorists to follow traffic police instructions and use the recommended alternative routes. Further updates will be shared through ITP FM 92.4 and its official social media platforms.
