ISLAMABAD, Dec 26 (APP): Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday issued a traffic advisory, warning commuters of heavy traffic pressure on major arteries of the federal capital during evening rush hours from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
An ITP spokesperson told APP that traffic flow may be affected on the Islamabad Expressway, Club Road, Murree Road and Jinnah Avenue due to increased vehicular movement during peak hours.
He advised the citizens to plan their travel in advance and leave with an additional 20 to 25 minutes to avoid inconvenience.
The spokesperson said, the motorists are encouraged to use inner-city service roads during these hours for smoother movement.
He added that ITP officers would remain deployed on roads to facilitate commuters and ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
