Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Wednesday issued a special traffic plan for the Youm-e-Istehsal walk from D-Chowk to the Foreign Office, announcing closure of the route to all traffic in both directions and advising commuters to use designated alternate roads to avoid inconvenience.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 05 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Wednesday issued a special traffic plan for the Youm-e-Istehsal walk from D-Chowk to the Foreign Office, announcing closure of the route to all traffic in both directions and advising commuters to use designated alternate roads to avoid inconvenience.
An ITP official told APP that traffic would not be allowed on the D-Chowk to Foreign Office route in either direction during the walk. Traffic police personnel would remain deployed at key points to guide commuters and regulate traffic.
The official advised motorists to follow the traffic plan and use the following alternate routes:
Route 1: Traffic from Secretariat
Traffic coming from the Secretariat should use Ayub Chowk and Embassy Road as an alternate route.
Route 2: Traffic from Serena Hotel
Traffic coming from the Serena Hotel side should use Embassy Road.
Route 3: Traffic from Bari Imam
Traffic coming from Bari Imam should use New Bari Imam Road as an alternate route.
Route 4: Traffic from Club Road
Traffic coming from Club Road should use Embassy Road and 7th Avenue to reach its destination.
The official urged citizens to use the designated alternate routes and cooperate with traffic police personnel to avoid congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow during the walk.
