ITP issues Chand Raat advisory for major markets, warns of traffic rush

ISLAMABAD, Mar 20 (APP): Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a traffic advisory for Chand Raat, warning of increased traffic pressure in F-6 Markaz, F-7 Markaz, F-10 Markaz, Karachi Company and I-8 Markaz due to heavy influx of shoppers.

An ITP official told APP on Friday that ITP would implement traffic diversions at different timings to ensure smooth flow of vehicles and an effective parking system in busy markets.

He said that special traffic squads have been deployed in these areas to guide citizens and manage traffic efficiently.

The official urged citizens to park their vehicles only in designated parking areas and avoid illegal parking.

He further advised the public to contact traffic help desks or on-duty traffic officers for guidance.

The Islamabad Traffic Police reiterated that it remained committed to ensuring smooth traffic flow and facilitating citizens, urging them to cooperate with traffic officials.
