ITP Head constable rescues kidnapped child, earns Rs 50,000 reward for bravery

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) Head Constable Jawad Khan has been awarded a Rs50,000 cash reward and commendation certificate for showing courage and presence of mind in rescuing a child kidnapped from Rawalpindi.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) Head Constable Jawad Khan has been awarded a Rs50,000 cash reward and commendation certificate for showing courage and presence of mind in rescuing a child kidnapped from Rawalpindi.
An ITP official told APP on Thursday that Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan called Jawad Khan to her office and appreciated his bravery and dedication to duty.
The official said the head constable acted courageously and used his presence of mind to rescue the kidnapped child from the abductors.
Recognising his action, the CTO Kainat presented him with a Rs50,000 cash reward along with a commendation certificate.
Kainat said the courage and dedication shown by police personnel was a matter of pride for the force.
Protecting the lives and property of citizens is the foremost responsibility of police, and dedicated personnel are a valuable asset to the department, she said.
The CTO Kainat said police personnel who demonstrate bravery, dedication and presence of mind in the line of duty would continue to be recognised and encouraged.
