Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will deploy its PS on Wheels and three facilitation vans at different locations across the federal capital from September 28 to October 4, providing driving licence and other police services to citizens near their homes and workplaces.
ITP Facilitation vans to serve citizens at different locations from Sept 28 to Oct 4
ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will deploy its PS on Wheels and three facilitation vans at different locations across the federal capital from September 28 to October 4, providing driving licence and other police services to citizens near their homes and workplaces.
An ITP official told APP on Sunday that the mobile units would remain available from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm during the week.
Monday, September 28, PS on Wheels will be stationed at F-11 Markaz, Van-I at B-17 Multi Office, Van-II at DHA Phase 5 Gate 1, while Van-III will be available at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On Tuesday, September 29, PS on Wheels will be available at I-8 Markaz, Van-I at District Administration Office G-11, Van-II at Air Headquarters E-9, and Van-III at Naka Foreign Office.
On Wednesday, September 30, PS on Wheels will be stationed at Margalla Town, Van-I at Naval Headquarters E-8, Van-II at D-12 Markaz, while Van-III will be available at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On Thursday, October 1, PS on Wheels will facilitate citizens at Blue Area near Tehzeeb Bakers, Van-I at Golra Darbar, Van-II at Chatta Bakhtawar near Afzal Electronics, and Van-III at Naka Adventure Inn.
On Friday, October 2, PS on Wheels will be stationed at E-11 Markaz, Van-I at Shah Allah Ditta, Van-II at G-11 Save Mart, while Van-III will be available at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On Saturday, October 3, PS on Wheels will be available at F-10 Markaz, Van-I at Naka G-14, Van-II at Bhara Kahu near City Smart School, and Van-III at Naka Foreign Office.
On Sunday, October 4, PS on Wheels will be stationed at Sunday Bazaar H-9, Van-I at Traffic Office Faizabad, Van-II at Police Lines H-11, while Van-III will be available at Islamabad Club.
The official said PS on Wheels and Van-I would provide services related to missing reports, character certificates, learner driving licences, licence renewals and duplicate licences.
Van-II and Van-III would provide learner licences, licence renewals, duplicate licences and driving test sheets.
The ITP said the mobile service was aimed at bringing police and driving licence facilities closer to citizens and saving them unnecessary visits to police and traffic offices.
