Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Police Stations on Wheels (PS on Wheels) will provide licensing, documentation and public facilitation services at various locations across the federal capital from June 22 to June 28 under the Islamabad Police outreach programme.
ITP facilitation vans, PS on Wheels to provide services across Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, Jun 21 (APP): Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Police Stations on Wheels (PS on Wheels) will provide licensing, documentation and public facilitation services at various locations across the federal capital from June 22 to June 28 under the Islamabad Police outreach programme.
An ITP official told APP on Sunday that the facilitation vans would offer services including learner permits, driving licence renewals, duplicate licences and driving test sheets, while PS on Wheels would provide facilities such as character certificates, missing documents reports and other public service-related assistance.
The official said citizens could avail services from PS on Wheels, Van-I, Van-II and Van-III operating daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at designated locations across Islamabad.
On Monday, June 22, PS on Wheels will be stationed at F-10 Markaz, Van-II at Shah Allah Ditta, Van-I at DHA Phase-5, while Van-III will be available at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On Tuesday, June 23, PS on Wheels will provide services at G-10 Markaz, Van-II at ICCI G-8, Van-I at Airport Society Site Office, and Van-III at Adventure Inn Check Post.
On Wednesday, June 24, PS on Wheels will be available at G-11 Markaz, Van-II at I-10 Markaz, Van-I at H-13 Dubai Plaza, while Van-III will operate from Traffic Office Faizabad.
On Thursday, June 25, PS on Wheels will be stationed at G-6/2, Van-II at E-11 Markaz, Van-I at G-6/4, and Van-III at Foreign Office Check Post.
On Friday, June 26, PS on Wheels will provide services at F-11 Markaz, Van-II at Bari Imam House, Van-I at Golra Darbar, while Van-III will remain available at Traffic Office Faizabad.
On Saturday, June 27, PS on Wheels will be stationed near Tehzeeb Bakers, Blue Area, Van-II at Khanna Pul, Van-I at DHA Phase-2, and Van-III at Rawal Town.
On Sunday, June 28, PS on Wheels will provide services at F-9 Park, Van-II at Rescue 15 G-8, Van-I at Police Lines H-11, while Van-III will be available at Islamabad Club.
The official said the initiative was aimed at facilitating citizens at their doorstep and improving access to police and traffic-related services across the federal capital.
