ISLAMABAD, May 17 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has finalized a special traffic plan for cattle markets ahead of Eid-ul-Adha and deployed more than 350 officers and personnel to ensure smooth flow of traffic across the federal capital.
An ITP official told APP on Sunday that the plan was finalized during an important meeting chaired by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, which was attended by SP Traffic and zonal DSPs.
CTO Virk said special traffic duties had been assigned around cattle markets to maintain uninterrupted traffic flow and minimize inconvenience for citizens.
Virk said additional personnel had also been deployed to ensure traffic discipline and facilitate visitors at cattle markets.
 Virk urged citizens to avoid parking vehicles on roadsides near cattle markets and use only designated parking areas.
He said Islamabad Traffic Police would remain present round the clock to guide citizens and maintain traffic order during Eid-related activities.
