RAWALPINDI, Oct 19 (APP):An Italian delegation led by Ambassador of Italy, Stefano Pontecorvo and President Chief
Executive Officer of Electronica Group, Enzo Benigni called on Federal Minister
for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal on Friday.
The minister emphasized the need for expansion of scope of defence cooperation between the two
countries, said a press release issued here.
The minister was apprised by the delegation about the potential areas of defence industrial cooperation, especially in the field of advanced electronics.
The Italian defense industry delegation has identified several potential opportunities in Pakistan. Zubaida also called for diverse cooperation in socioeconomic sectors.
