It is time to call a spade a spade: Shehryar Afridi
ISLAMABAD, May 10 (APP):State Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON), Shehryar Afridi Friday said there was no bar at criticizing a convicted person especially the one who was found involved in looting national wealth.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government realizing its manifesto was committed to bring reforms in the prevailing political system by bringing corrupt elements to justice.
The minister was of the view that the country could not flourish where the law of land was being misused.
He said, “It is the time to call a spade a spade,” and added in current circumstances, to raise our voice against the miscreants was not based on bad intention.
