Islamabad Police recruitment underway simultaneously at test centres across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Jul 28 (APP):Islamabad Police on Tuesday continued its recruitment drive simultaneously at test centres in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sukkur, Gilgit, Quetta and Multan, where senior police officers reviewed the ongoing physical endurance tests, security arrangements and administrative measures to ensure a transparent, merit-based and well-organised selection process.

An ICT Police spokesperson told APP that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the recruitment test centres in Islamabad and reviewed the overall arrangements. He directed the officers concerned to ensure that every stage of the recruitment process was completed strictly on merit, with complete transparency and in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures.

The spokesperson said the ongoing recruitment process, including physical endurance and running tests, was being conducted under a standardised mechanism to assess candidates’ physical fitness while ensuring fairness and transparency at every stage.

In Faisalabad, SSP CTD/AIG Operations Saud Khan inspected the physical endurance tests, security arrangements and overall management of the recruitment process. He directed the staff to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of all recruitment activities.

At the Sukkur recruitment centre, SP Traffic Majid Iqbal reviewed the arrangements and the facilities being provided to candidates, while SDPO Sadar Circle Khan Muhammad Baloch inspected the ongoing recruitment process and administrative arrangements at the Gilgit test centre.

Meanwhile, AIG Establishment Shoaib Masood, accompanied by DSP Ashraf, visited the Quetta recruitment centre to inspect the physical and running tests, security arrangements and other administrative matters. They directed the officials concerned to complete every stage of the recruitment process in accordance with merit, transparency and the prescribed procedures.

Similarly, SP Saddar Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan, accompanied by DSP Jafar Bukhari, visited the Multan recruitment centre, where they reviewed the physical tests, security arrangements and overall arrangements, directing the staff to ensure a fair, transparent and merit-based recruitment process.

The spokesperson said senior officers were closely monitoring recruitment activities at all test centres to ensure equal opportunities for candidates and maintain the integrity of the recruitment process across the country.
