ISLAMABAD, Jan 30 (APP):Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday directed Islamabad police to devise an effective policy to curb crimes, urging them to take strict action against those involved in such incidents.
He made these directions while chairing a meeting held to review law and order situation. The meeting was attended by officials of Civil Administration and Islamabad Police, said a press release.
Interior Minister directed Islamabad Police to take strict action against those involved in street crime incidents.
Prof. Ahsan Iqbal also directed to provide full security to Chinese citizens and to establish a national data base to maintain crime as well as vehicles record.
The minister said that special software should be also developed with the help of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for control of mobile theft incidents.
