IRSA releases 98,900 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD, Nov 17 (APP): Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Thursday released 94,000 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 63,300 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in River Indus at Tarbela Dam was 1518.87 feet and was 120.87 feet higher than its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 26,700 cusecs while outflow as 48,000 cusecs.

The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Dam was 1145.55 feet, which was 95.55 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded 13,600 cusecs and 23,000 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa , Guddu and Sukkur was recorded 58,500, 39,100, 33,900 and 13,100 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 13,100 cusecs of water released at Nowshera and 3,800 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
