IRS to host webinar on Pakistan-Russia ties on Thursday
ISLAMABAD, Jul 7 (APP): The Institute of Regional Studies (IRS), Islamabad, in collaboration with the University of World Civilizations (UWCM), Moscow, will host the second event of the Pakistan-Russia Webinar Series on Thursday.
The webinar, titled “Pakistan-Russia: Strengthening Trade, Education & Energy Collaboration,” will bring together top policymakers, diplomats, business leaders, and academics to pivot from geopolitical discourse toward concrete geo-economic initiatives.
The event will highlight practical frameworks for expanding bilateral trade, industrial development, energy security, academic mobility, and regional connectivity.
The webinar will feature discussion on trade logistics, Eurasian railway corridors, barter arrangements, financial/payment mechanisms, and joint educational partnerships.
The event aims to build direct institutional linkages between Islamabad and Moscow, translating shared strategic interests into tangible economic outcomes within the Eurasian region.
