ISLAMABAD, April 02 (APP):Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage, Irfan Siddiqui Monday paid tribute to the
extra-ordinary contribution of the senior journalist and Chief Editor of Daily Nawa-i- Waqt, Majid Nizami for uplift of journalism.
He was speaking at a ceremony to mark 90th birth anniversary of Majid Nizami held at National Language Promotion Department (NLPD).
Irfan Siddiqui said, Majid Nizami had great love for his country and also for Indian Occupied Kashmir. He was a person
who always felt pride on his religious values and traditions. Majid Nizami was a courageous man who always advocated truth
without any fear, he added.
He said, “we are part of caravan of Majid Nizami and we will take forward his mission”.
The Advisor along with Pakistan Muslim League-N senior leader, Raja Zafar ul Haq cut the cake of 90th birth anniversary
of Majid Nizami.
Chairman NLPD, Iftikhar Arif, Senior journalist, Javed Siddique and representatives of Nazriya Pakistan Forum including Shahid Rasheed, Zafar Bakhtawri, Professor Naeem Qasim and Columnist, Aisha Masood Malik also addressed on the occasion.
