ISLAMABAD, Nov 09 (APP): On the occasion of Allama Iqbal Day today (Sunday), Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam paid tribute to the renowned poet-philosopher, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
The Ambassador highlighted Iqbal’s deep connection with Persian literature and his role in strengthening intellectual ties between Iran and Pakistan, said in a message on X (social media).
Iqbal’s message of unity and faith continues to inspire nations, guiding humanity towards dignity, justice, and spiritual awakening, the Ambassador said, adding that Iran honors Iqbal as a shared cultural and spiritual figure, symbolizing wisdom, brotherhood, and the strong bond between Iran and Pakistan.
The Ambassador announced that November 9 is celebrated as “Allama Iqbal Day” in Iran, recognizing Iqbal’s enduring legacy.
