Investiture ceremony held at Corps Headquarters

LAHORE, Mar 28 (APP):Lieutenant General Majid Ehsan Corps Commander Lahore conferred military awards to the army personnel in an investiture Ceremony held at the corps headquarters.
According to a press release issued by ISPR here on Thursday, the military awards Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Tamgha-e-Bisalat were awarded for the acts of gallantry during operations, outstanding performances in respective fields and for long meritorious services.
Twenty three Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and forty eight Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) were awarded to the officers, while fifteen officers and soldiers received Tamgha-e-Bisalat. Posthomous awards were bestowed upon the Shuhada(martyrs) which were received by their family members.
A large number of military officials and families of Shuhada and Ghazis attended the ceremony.
