MULTAN, Apr 30 (APP):Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said
that international standard healthcare facilities were being provided
in hospitals of South Punjab.
Talking to media persons during his visit to Layyah, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif stated that the government had taken revolutionary steps for service of the masses. The healthcare facilities were being provided in all remote areas of the region. The Chief Minister added that 20 mobile hospitals were serving in far-off areas of the province.
He said the government had also introduced 9 mobile workshops
to repair out of order machinery in the hospitals. The officials
at the mobile workshops were visiting different hospitals in this
regard, he added.
The government also provided CT Scan in hospital, he said and
added that CT Scan of 1500 persons was conducted free of cost in
Layyah. Shehbaz Sharif also inaugurated Pathology lab and Kidney
ward on this occasion.
Responding to a question, Shehbaz Sharif stated that Imran Khan
had made record of allegations and I think it would be waste of time
to answer his allegations.
Shehbaz Sharif also promised to set up medical college in Layyah.
On this occasion, provincial minister for natural disaster Ejaz Achlana, Health minister Imran Nazeer, Secretary Health Ali Jaan, MNA Sahibzada Faizul Hassan and others were also present.
