Interior Ministry Denies Reports of Meeting Between Mohsin Naqvi and KP Chief Minister

ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP):Ministry of Interior has categorically denied media and social media reports claiming that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi.
In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry’s spokesperson described the reports circulating in both traditional and social media as “baseless and fabricated.”
The spokesperson clarified that no meeting of any kind had taken place between the federal interior minister and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, rejecting all such claims as contrary to the facts.
“The news being circulated regarding a meeting between the Federal Interior Minister and the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is unfounded and entirely made up,” the spokesperson said.
The ministry further emphasized that reports suggesting any form of interaction or meeting between the two officials were inaccurate and did not reflect reality.
The clarification comes amid widespread speculation on media platforms regarding an alleged meeting between the senior federal and provincial leaders, prompting the Interior Ministry to issue an official rebuttal.
