ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday commended the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan for successfully thwarting a terrorist plot during an operation in the Pishin district.
Naqvi lauded the CTD’s “professional competence” and said the timely action by its personnel prevented a major threat to peace in the region. He also prayed for the swift recovery of the officers injured in the operation.
“The brave officers of CTD Balochistan eliminated the terrorists through a prompt and effective operation,” the minister said, offering heartfelt tributes to the personnel who took part in the raid.
He added that CTD and broader law-enforcement efforts remain essential for ensuring lasting peace in Balochistan.
