ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in his message, said that July 27, 1948 marks a historic day in Pakistan’s military history when the first Nishan-e-Haider was awarded in the defense of the motherland.
Interior Minister stated that Captain Raja Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed demonstrated extraordinary courage in the Uri Sector. Despite barbed wire fences and heavy shelling, Captain Sarwar continued to advance and bravely captured the enemy’s fortified posts.
Mohsin Naqvi further said that despite being critically injured, Captain Sarwar fought till his last breath and fulfilled his duty in defending the nation.
Interior Minister emphasized that Captain Sarwar Shaheed set a shining example of bravery, valour, and courage on the battlefield. His unwavering loyalty to the country and his spirit of martyrdom elevated the military values of Pakistan to new heights.
The Interior Minister highlighted that the brave sons of Pakistan’s Armed Forces continue to follow in the footsteps of Captain Sarwar Shaheed. He stated that on the martyrdom day of Captain Raja Muhammad Sarwar, the entire nation salutes his eternal sacrifice and renews its pledge to defend the homeland.
