ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the blast near a police vehicle in the Hangu area, which claimed the lives of SP Operations Asad Zubair and two other police personnel.
Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic incident, Minister Naqvi paid glowing tribute to the martyred SP Asad Zubair and the two policemen, acknowledging their courage and sacrifice in the line of duty. “SP Asad Zubair and his fellow officers have achieved the highest honor of martyrdom,” Naqvi said, adding that their sacrifice for the nation will never be forgotten.
The interior minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs, assuring them that the entire nation stands with them in this hour of grief. “We share the pain of the bereaved families and extend our full support to them,” he said.
Naqvi further remarked that the sacrifices rendered by the officers and jawans of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police will always be remembered with pride. “The blood of our martyrs will not go in vain,” he affirmed.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to continue the fight against terrorism with unwavering resolve, ensuring that the perpetrators of such heinous acts are brought to justice.
