ISLAMABAD, Dec 17 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfooz, hailing him as a symbol of unparalleled courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty.
In a statement, Mohsin Naqvi said that Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfooz set a shining example of bravery and valor during the 1971 war. He noted that the soldier completed an extremely dangerous mission with extraordinary determination and courage, ultimately attaining the highest rank of martyrdom.
The interior minister said that the supreme sacrifice of Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfooz changed the course of the battlefield and played a decisive role on the front. He added that with unforgettable bravery, the martyred soldier neutralized the enemy’s most effective defensive position.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfooz remains a lasting source of inspiration, courage, and resolve for the nation. “He proved that attaining martyrdom in the line of duty is the greatest honor for a Pakistani soldier,” the minister said.
Paying further tribute, Mohsin Naqvi said that the name of Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfooz will always live on in the pages of history and in the hearts of the nation.
