ISLAMABAD, Dec 01 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday strongly condemned the suicide attack near a police vehicle in Lakki Marwat, expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of a police officer in the incident.
Naqvi paid tribute to the fallen officer for embracing martyrdom in the line of duty and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured personnel.
“The cowardly acts of the Kharijite elements cannot shake the nation’s firm resolve against terrorism,” the Interior Minister said, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating militancy.
Praising the sacrifices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Naqvi said the force has rendered “matchless sacrifices” in the war against terrorism. “These great sacrifices will never be allowed to go in vain,” he added.
