In a statement, Mohsin Naqvi denounced the attacks on customs and traffic officials in Dera Ismail Khan and expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of five personnel.
The interior minister conveyed his sympathies and condolences to the families of the martyred officials. He said the government stands with the families during this difficult time and shares their grief.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that the loss of the officials is deeply felt and that the families of the martyrs are not alone in their sorrow. He said the nation recognizes the sacrifices made by personnel serving in the line of duty.
The minister noted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains the province most affected by terrorism and continues to face security challenges.
He said such attacks cannot weaken the nation’s resolve against terrorism. According to Mohsin Naqvi, efforts to counter terrorism will continue despite such incidents, and the commitment to confronting the threat remains firm.
