LAHORE, Dec 8 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and
Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui has said that institutions were strengthening in Pakistan, which is a good omen for the people of the country.

Addressing the launching ceremony of a historical calendar by Farm Evo
Limited here at a local hotel on Thursday, he said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, a second consecutive political government was going to complete its tenure.

Irfan Siddiqui said that marvellous traditions were being set, and
Pakistan was making progress in various fields. He said that Pakistan has become an atomic power, institutions are getting stronger and we are gaining strength despite the enemies’ designs.

The advisor said that the Two-Nation theory provided the Muslims
of the Subcontinent with a guarantee of their stability, existence and development at the time of creation of Pakistan. He said that we
would have to transform our history and transfer our culture to the
next generations.

He said that if we would forget our history, we would not be able to
survive as a nation for long. He stressed the need for getting rid of negative social behaviours and pessimism for development of the country.

The advisor also expressed his grief over plane crash and prayed to
Allah Almighty to give courage to the bereaved families to bear their loss with fortitude.

Syed Jamshed Ahmed, Ibraheem Qasim, Haroon Qasim and Khawaja Razi  Haider also spoke on the occasion.
