ISLAMABAD, Jan 20 (APP):Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil and Principal Information Officer Mobashir Hassan on Tuesday expressed profound grief over the passing of the wife of senior journalist Syed Aun Shirazi.
In their condolence messages, they extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
Secretary Information Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil said he was deeply saddened to learn of the demise, adding that the Ministry of Information stood with the family in their hour of grief.
The Federal Secretary and the PIO prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and courage for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
