ISLAMABAD, June 9 (APP): Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Thursday said Indian ‘state actors’ were involved in subversive activities in Balochistan, tribal areas and Karachi.
“They talk about our non-state actors, but we talk about their state-actors that are active in subversive activities in Balochistan, tribal areas and Karachi,” Aziz said at a press conference held here at Foreign Office.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan had a “mutual concern of terrorism” with India.
He said following the arrest of its Indian Kalbhushan Yadav, Pakistan had informed the international community of Indian sponsored activities.
He said in coming weeks, Pakistan would share further information with the United Nations and the P5 countries.
Aziz mentioned that India’s statement, about non-involvement of Pakistan in the attack at Pathankot airbase, was a “good development” for Pakistan.
He said the non-state actors involved in this incident could be determined only after thorough investigation.
In response to a question about how hopeful Pakistan was of its relations with India, he said India had a history of six decades of making Pakistan “isolated” in the international community.
However, he said Pakistan had been successful in protecting its interests.
“Pakistan believes that dialogue is the only option for resolution of issues with India,” he said.
