Indian brutalities in Kashmir exposed its secular face: Salman

ISLAMABAD, July 19 (APP): Former Ambassador Salman Bashir has said that Indian brutalities in Kashmir have exposed its secular face and its empty slogans of championing democratic norms.

Talking to Radio Pakistan he said that India is denying well
recognized right of self determination of Kashmiris. Despite
Indian nefarious and underhand tactics, quest for right of self
determination is getting stronger in Kashmiri people.

Replying to a question he said, “it is a stated position of
Pakistan that world should recognize right of self determination of Kashmiri People. It is a fundamental right available to every citizen of Kashmir irrespective of his age and gender.”

He further said, “it is a matter of serious concern that
Muslims are being victimized in every part of the world. We must understand historical dimension of suppression and atrocities being inflicted on Muslims of the world.”
