India suffered heavy damages in exchange of fire across LOC: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Apr 2 (APP):The Pakistan Army on Tuesday responded befittingly to the Indian ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LOC) and caused heavy damages to the Indian side.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), many Indian posts were damaged during exchange of fire while seven Indian soldiers were killed and 19 received injuries.
The ISPR said the Indian forces continued violation of ceasefire along the LOC during last 48 to 72 hours, opened fire in Khuiratta Sector and deliberately targeted civilian population.
It added an 18-year boy got martyred and three women received injuries, who were evacuated to hospital.
Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred yesterday during the exchange of fire, who would be buried with full military honour, the ISPR said.
