Independent Candidate Shakeel Ahmed wins PK-23 election

ISLAMABAD, Feb 9 (APP): An Independent Candidate Shakeel Ahmed has won the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly election from PK-23, Malakand-I by securing 51,939 votes.

According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) candidate Muhammad Hamayun Khan who bagged 23,064 votes.

Overall voters’ turn-out remained 42.8 per cent.
