ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP): Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique Monday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was a ‘slave of his wishes’ and was
daydreaming to become prime minister.

Talking to media persons after filing nominations papers for PML-N party office-bearers along with a delegation of party leaders, he said Imran wanted to become prime minster by hook or by crook.

Saad Rafique said the person, who wanted to block the Federal Capital, could not be a well- wisher of the nation. In fact Imran wanted to derail the democratic system by creating anarchy, he said, adding that he (Imran) had wasted precious time of the nation through his 126-day sit-in.

He said two sessions of the Central Executive Committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would be held on Tuesday. During the first session various resolutions would be adopted while election of ten party office-bearers, including president, chairman, six senior vice presidents, secretary information and secretary finance, would be held in the second one.

He said the intra-party party election could not be completed overnight. The election process was started last year, he added.

He said Chaudhary Jaffar Iqbal had already been appointed as chief election commissioner with four commission members from all the provinces to conduct the election.

The delegation including Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani, Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman, Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, filed nomination papers for various party leaders on various posts.
