ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP): A Mehfil-e-Milad (SAW) was held at Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) here to pay tribute to the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW).

Syed Abid Shah Gilani and Qari Ghazanfar Ali Naeemi recited verses from the Holy Quran and Naat while Syed Adnan Bukhari, Shakeel Maqool Naseemi and Muhammad Qasim Malik presented only Naat.

APP Managing Director Masood Malik said respect and emulation of the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) should be an integral part of our faith.

He said that the Muslims must emulate the Holy Prophet’s lief. Every Muslim should prepare himself for the life hereafter and recite the Holy Quran daily as it was imperative for leading a meaningful life, he added.

He said as Islam gives a complete code of leading life so such gatherings highlighting Islamic teachings should continue in future also.

APP Executive Director Sohail Khan, Director News Muhammad Akram Malik, Director (Coordination) Muhammad Naeem Chaudhry and staff attended the Mefil-e-Milad.
