ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (APP):Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) F-6/2 organized seventh convocation to honour the graduating students from 2015 to 2024 , with degrees, awards, shields and gold medals.
According to a press release on Thursday, 153 degrees, 5 gold medals, 16 shields and 30 roll of honour were awarded in the convocation.
The event was held at the college auditorium, which was graced by Vice Chancellor Quaid-e-Azam University Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, as special guests, it added.
In his address, Dr Niaz Ahmed Akhtar said that the convocation was a memorable experience for him.
Appreciating the hard work of the parents and teachers, he called the students “the luckiest daughters of Pakistan” who got the opportunity to pursue higher education.
He conveyed the message of passion, honesty, teamwork.
Other speakers also appreciated the students who were awarded.
