LAHORE, Apr 16 (APP):Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany Tuesday led Isha prayer at Jamia Ashrafia, here.
Earlier, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany led Maghrib prayer at Badshahi Mosque and Asr prayer at Markaz Jamiat Ahle Hadith. Thousands of people offered prayers.
The Imam-e-Kaaba offered special prayers for peace, security, solidarity and longevity of Pakistan.
Addressing at Markaz Jamiat Ahle Hadith, he said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed long historic ties, adding that Pakistanis were committed to the security of the Holy land of Saudi Arabia.
The Imam-e-Kaaba said that Pakistan had played a very important role in the war against terrorism and elimination of extremism.
On the occasion, strict security arrangements were ensured to avoid any untoward situation as police officers were deployed at exit and entrance points.
