Imaan Mazari, Hadi Ali Chattha to be indicted on October 6
ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP):An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has fixed October 6, for indictment of Imaan Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chattha in a case pertaining to alleged violation of protocol and assault on police.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case, during which Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha appeared before the court through video link.
Advocates Riasat Ali Azad and Zainab appeared before the court on behalf of the accused. Copies of the charge sheet were also provided to the lawyers of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha.
The court fixed October 6 for framing of charges against the two accused and adjourned the hearing.
A case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha has been registered at Secretariat Police Station.
Meanwhile, in another protest-related case registered at Kohsar Police Station, the ATC issued notices to the parties on the bail petitions filed by Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha.
ATC Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the case and directed the parties to present arguments on October 5.
