IHRA assesses Life Care Int’l Hospital for licensing

ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP):The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) has conducted a licensing assessment of Life Care International Hospital to evaluate its compliance with prescribed healthcare standards and requirements for patient safety and quality of care.
During the assessment, IHRA assessors evaluated the hospital against the indicators outlined in the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and prepared a comprehensive assessment report.
The exercise forms part of IHRA’s ongoing licensing process aimed at ensuring that healthcare establishments operating in Islamabad meet the required standards of service delivery, patient safety and public health.
The authority’s regulatory framework focuses on assessing healthcare facilities against established benchmarks to promote quality services, improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
The licensing assessment also reflects IHRA’s continued efforts to strengthen oversight of healthcare establishments and encourage adherence to standards designed to safeguard patients and the wider community.
Through such assessments, IHRA aims to promote accountability, improve healthcare service delivery and ensure that medical facilities maintain the required standards before the issuance of licences.
