ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) on Tuesday conducted a licensing assessment of Advance International Hospital, G-8, as part of its ongoing process to evaluate healthcare facilities against prescribed standards.
IHRA team reviewed various departments of the hospital against the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and documented their observations and findings in a comprehensive assessment report.
The assessment covered compliance with the prescribed standards for delivery of healthcare services and provided an opportunity to identify areas requiring improvement.
The licensing assessment forms part of IHRA’s regulatory process for ensuring that healthcare establishments meet the required standards before being granted or renewed their operating licences.
The authority is conducting such assessments to strengthen regulatory oversight of healthcare facilities and promote adherence to established standards across Islamabad.
The exercise also focuses on improving patient safety, quality of care and the overall delivery of healthcare services in the federal capital.
IHRA said continued monitoring and assessment of healthcare facilities was important for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and protecting public health.
