The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed for hearing the appeal filed by the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his wife Bushra Bibi challenging their conviction in the 190 million pound NAB reference.
IHC to hear PTI Founder’s appeal in 190m pounds case

ISLAMABAD, Apr 29 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed for hearing the appeal filed by the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his wife Bushra Bibi challenging their conviction in the 190 million pound NAB reference.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif will hear the case today (Wednesday). The registrar’s office has issued the cause list for the hearing.
The case was previously scheduled for April 22, but the cause list was cancelled due to the closure of the Red Zone. The high court has now re-fixed the appeal for today.
The PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were sentenced by a trial court in the graft case related to the Al-Qadir Trust. They have challenged the verdict before the IHC, seeking acquittal.
Further proceedings will be held before the division bench today.
