IHC serves notices in plea seeking lawyer’s meeting with PTI founder

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday served notice to respondents on a contempt of court petition for not allowing Salman Akram Raja to meet PTI founder in jail.
The court instructed the Assistant Attorney General to look into Salman Akram Raja’s jail visit to meet PTI founder.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked that If Salman Akram Raja cannot meet him in jail, how will he help us in Twitter X case. Lawyer Salman Akram Raja appeared in court in person
He argued that despite written order of this court, I was not allowed to meet PTI founder on last Tuesday. SHO Aizaz did not obey your order.
The assistant attorney general said that he would again convey the court instructions to the authorities today. The hearing of the case was then adjourned after the court served notices to respondents.
