ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday set aside the objections of the Registrar’s Office on petition of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister Sohail Afridi seeking permission to meet the PTI founder and issued notices to
the parties.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the case wherein Advocate Ali Bukhari appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
The Registrar office has objected to the petition that the court has already given a decision on an identical petition and the procedure for the meeting has been decided. However, the lawyer took the position that there is legal validity in the current petition because the provincial cabinet has not been formed yet.
The court issued notices to the Secretary Home, IG Police and Superintendent Adiala Jail for October 23.
