ISLAMABAD, Feb 20 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on directed the Chairman National Highways Authority (NHA) to immediately send the restricturing plan to cabinet division in a case related to the appointment of officers on deputation.
The court also directed the concerned responsible officer of NHA to appear at the next hearing for the briefing into the matter.
The court directed the to submit complete details of officers and officials working on deputation at the next hearing.
Chief Justice IHC Sardar Sarfraz Dogar issued a written order regarding the hearing.
On September 25, 2025, the Islamabad High Court had given time to NHA to send the restructuring plan to the Cabinet Division.
NHA’s lawyer once again requested to postpone the hearing, said the order.
It said that according to the lawyer, the matter is still under process and has not been sent to the Cabinet Division.
According to the lawyer of the petitioner, the plan has not been sent despite the passage of 5 months.
