The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued notices to the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Director General of Immigration and Passports, seeking their replies to a petition challenging the offloading of a citizen, Khalid Mahmood, from a flight to Thailand.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued notices to the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Director General of Immigration and Passports, seeking their replies to a petition challenging the offloading of a citizen, Khalid Mahmood, from a flight to Thailand.
Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar issued the notices during the preliminary hearing of the petition.
The court also directed senior officers of the FIA and Immigration Department responsible for offloading the petitioner to appear before it at the next hearing. The court adjourned further proceedings until November 5.
