ISLAMABAD, Jan 20 (APP):The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday sought a policy report from the Ministry of Defense regarding the procedure for briefing the court in the case related to the recovery of missing citizen Omar Abdullah.
The court directed the representative of the Ministry of Defense to inform the law officer about the procedure to be followed for briefing.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the petition of Zainab Zaeem, wife of missing citizen Omar Abdullah.
The petitioner’s lawyer, Assistant Attorney General Usman Ghuman and a representative of the Ministry of Defense appeared in the court.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired what the instructions are regarding the in-camera briefing from the Ministry of Defense. The Assistant Attorney General requested that the court give some time for the instructions. The court directed that the policy regarding briefings be informed by the next hearing. The court adjourned the hearing until February 24.
