IHC schedules hearing against appointment of PTV’s Director

ISLAMABAD, Jan 01 (APP): The Islamabad High Court has fixed January 12, for hearing the case against the appointment of Director Current Affairs PTV Chaudhry Saleem.

Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro will hear the petition of PTV’s senior officer Sohail Akhtar. The court has suspended the order of appointment of Director Current Affairs PTV Chaudhry Saleem. The court has issued a notice to Director Current Affairs PTV and sought a response.

The petitioner has also filed a contempt of court petition for non-implementation of the court order. Senior lawyer GM Chaudhry will appear on behalf of the petitioner on January 12.
