ISLAMABAD, Jun 23 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) remained closed on Tuesday due to the closure of the Red Zone because of the arrival of a foreign delegation.
With the approval of the Chief Justice, Registrar Muhammad Yar Walana issued a notification stating that the cause list has been canceled and officers and staff have been directed to work from home. However, the district courts of Islamabad  remained open and continued functioning as usual.
The notification further stated that litigants, lawyers, and court staff may face severe difficulties in reaching the High Court due to the situation, so no judicial proceedings were held in the Islamabad High Court. It was also directed that officers and staff would not leave their station without prior permission from the relevant authority.
