IHC issues notices in plea against entry in Faisal Mosque with inappropriate dress

ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday issued notices to respondents including the in-charge of Faisal Mosque on a petition seeking a ban on entering ‘masjid’ in inappropriate attire and making videos with dancing and music.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir sought responses from the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Chairman CDA, Ministry of Religious Affairs, President International Islamic University and IG Islamabad on the petition of citizen Musharraf Zain.
The petition took the position that in the viral videos on social media, videos are being made in an indecent manner in the premises of Faisal Mosque, which is hurting the sanctity of the mosque. The petitioner requested the court to impose a ban on making videos with inappropriate dress and dancing and music.
