The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday issued a notice to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, seeking a reply by tomorrow in a case challenging the detention of two PTI MNAs under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Ordinance.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday issued a notice to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, seeking a reply by tomorrow in a case challenging the detention of two PTI MNAs under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Ordinance.

Justice Khadim Hussain Somro heard the petitions filed by Adil Bazai and Dawar Kundi.

The court had earlier reserved its preliminary decision after hearing arguments from counsel Babar Awan.

The petitions sought to declare the detention of Adil Bazai and Dawar Kundi under 3 MPO as null and void.
