Preparations for the Independence Day celebrations at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) have been completed, with a rehearsal by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Islamabad Police held ahead of the official ceremony.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP): Preparations for the Independence Day celebrations at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) have been completed, with a rehearsal by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Islamabad Police held ahead of the official ceremony.

Senior police officers, including Superintendent of Police, Iqbal and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ishtiaq Khokhar, attended the rehearsal conducted on the court premises on Thursday.

During the rehearsal, police officers participated in a flag-hoisting exercise, while the Islamabad Police contingent presented a salute.

The formal Independence Day ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Islamabad High Court at 9 a.m. on Friday.
