ISLAMABAD, Feb 26 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday disposed of the case against Naib Tehsildar Ali Javed after he apologized to the citizen regarding stopping his vehicle for not giving way and torturing him through guards.
Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfaraz Dogar heard the case. During the hearing on the petition of citizen Noman Javed Abbasi, Naib Tehsildar Ali Javed appeared in the court in his personal capacity on the court summons.
The petitioner told the court that an apology has been sought and I have also forgiven him. Now that the matter has been resolved, I want to withdraw the petition. The court disposed of the petition after it was withdrawn.
The petition requested the Chief Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to issue instructions for departmental disciplinary action against the Naib Tehsildar, and it was taken that the vehicle was stopped for not giving way immediately due to a traffic jam, the guard slapped and misbehaved with citizen. The Naib Tehsildar misused his position and threatened him with serious consequences in the intoxication of power.
